RTL Netherlands is a media company with linear TV channels, a news site and Videoland, which is the number #2 streaming service in the Netherlands. Through these outlets we offer a wide range of news and entertainment to millions of viewers.
The Data Science team works on diverse range of projects, since the entire company is within scope. This includes forecasting TV ratings for linear channels, personalisation on Videoland, video AI to enhance operational processes, helping the journalists with research, and much more. We are a diverse team of eight, with six nationalities and diverse study backgrounds. The working language in the team is English. Next to the core team members we have 5 PhD students working with us various media-related topics.
We often have around three interns working in the team. We are very flexible when it comes to internships, and we do not have fixed start or end dates. We also do not have a fixed project list, as it changes all too often and also depends on the latest research.
